Sydney Mintle is a style writer and fashion industry expert who is passionate about supporting locally-owned businesses and sharing the best of the Pacific Northwest.

Sydney got her start in the fashion industry at sixteen by working on the sales floor at a local boutique. She served on the Nordstrom BP Fashion Board in high school and went on to earn two degrees in fashion merchandising at The Art Institute of Seattle. She eats, sleeps, and breathes fashion, and wouldn’t have it any other way.

After working in retail for a variety of companies including Juxtapose, HMS Host, Anchor Blue, and Benefit Cosmetics, Sydney moved to the corporate world and spent six years at Zumiez managing sourcing and production of the menswear private label lines. During her tenure, she helped the company launch its first social compliance program, ensuring that workers around the globe had fair wages, safe working conditions, and access to opportunities for growth. In 2010, she launched Gossip & Glamour, a boutique PR agency dedicated to serving a wide range of fashion industry clients.

Over the years, Sydney has worked to build community within the Seattle fashion industry by serving as Regional Director for the Seattle Chapter of Fashion Group International, hosting business events for CRAVE Seattle, serving on the advisory committee for the MOHAI Seattle Style exhibit, and hosting numerous fashion events around town, including the annual Gossip & Glamour Style Summit.

Sydney deeply believes that fashion has the power to change the world.

Sydney lives in Seattle and is available for fashion events, retail consulting, speaking engagements, and brand collaborations.
